1. [intransitive] to reach a final point: [Chegar a um ponto final]
1a. used for talking about a road or path: [Usado para falar sobre uma estrada ou caminho]
2 [transitive] to make something reach its final point: [Fazer algo alcançar seu ponto final]
3 [transitive] to reach the final point of a period of time while in a particular place or state: [Atingir o ponto final de uma período de tempo quando em um lugar ou estado em específico]
Nós podemos também usar END junto com as seguintes preposições formando assim os phrasal verbs:
To end in phrasal verb [transitive] is to end in something to have something as a final result: [To end in significa ter algo como resultado final]
To end up phrasal verb [intransitive] MAINLY SPOKEN to be in a particular place or state after doing something or because of doing it: [Estar em um lugar ou estado específico depois de fazer algo ou por causa de fazê-lo:]
T end with phrasal verb [transitive]: To end (something) with something to have or add something as the final part: [To end (algo) with alguma coisa é o mesmo que ter, ou acrescentar como parte final:]
